a Tall Tale
Teacher Instructions
The students are instructed to use the five pictures provided
to form an original story. They will use a word processing program
to cut and paste the pictures from the internet. Once the pictures
are pasted onto the word document, they will narrate a story.
Things to keep in mind:
* Make sure the students understand
how to move the pictures around on the page. Also, help the children
with the pictures so that they are not haphazardly placed around the page.
The best way to do this is to right click on the image, then choose
format object, then layout.
From here, choose the option that works best for the page. By choosing
tight
, the words will be close to the picture, making it easier to form the
story around them.
* Encourage students to use the
pictures in any order. Not all stories will be the same, so not all
the pictures will be in the same order.
